For centuries herbs and spices have been used for enhancing the flavor of food, preservative agents and used in medical practices. Research over the past decade has reported on diverse range of health benefits, such as antioxidant, anti inflammatory, anticarcinogenic, cholesterol lowering and weight loss.
A professor of nutrition at the University of Miami says, "You should be cooking with herbs and spices regularly and using several at a time."
Adding herbs and spices to your diet makes it easier to cut back on less healthy ingredients like salt, sugar and added fat.
Tossing organic herb and spice blends into a dish may enhance the flavor. Imparting the flavors can be accomplished while the dish cooks, as a garnish, by marinating and infusing the flavor prior to cooking, or by adding a sauce, dressing, spread or dip after the dish has been fully cooked or prepared.

For Brussels sprouts I personally like the Garlic & Herb blend. But for more bold flavor the Applewood Sea Salt!
